A summertime wedding in La Jolla’s beautiful La Valencia hotel with beachy, bohemian designs throughout.

For the custom watercolor invitation, we collaborated on a vintage postal stamp design that incorporated the bride’s favorite details from the ceremony and reception venue. The painting is scanned, revised for printing purposes, then reproduced to feel like each attendee has their own copy of the painting.

The original watercolor paintings are then sent for the bride and groom to save as a keepsake.

Rehearsal dinner invitations were also designed to match the iconic restaurant, The Marine Room. In this design I created a two-seahorse emblem that we plan to use for the bride and groom’s seating chart.
